The kennel had numerous structures scattered around the residence, with several visible to me at the property’s north side. I saw three buildings that had rows of indoor/outdoor dog runs on their north and south sides. There were about four dog runs per row. The runs were about five feet long and three feet wide, with rock floorings and galvanized wire walls. I saw one to two dogs in each enclosure, being either Boston Terriers or Dachshunds. Dogs paced back and forth in enclosures often, and one Dachshund paced in halfway across their enclosure for almost a minute at a time a quick pace. This kind of behavior, without any kind of outside stimulus promoting it, indicates anxiety and extreme boredom from a lack of enrichment and exercise (3.8 Exercise for dogs).
