Outdoor dog runs
The property had a variety of kennel areas. Three were several sets of outdoor enclosures. Two were a series of about a dozen outdoor runs, each run about four feet wide and 10 to 15 feet long. Some runs were of different dimensions, such as a couple that were twice as wide, appearing to be two runs linked together by having the wire walls between them removed, and one run that was half as long as others. I saw clearly into one set of runs, where there one or two dogs visible in each for ones I could see dogs in. There were dog houses inside or attached to the runs, and tarps that provided partial shade over them. Some runs appeared to have solid, concrete floorings, but others were set on the bare ground. One set of dog runs had a fence set in front of that the dogs couldn’t see through, limiting their view of most of their surroundings.
Larger outdoor runs
Another row of seven outdoor runs, which were about 20 feet long. Some were about six feet wide, and others about 10 feet wide. They appeared to have concrete floorings, with solid fencing on their sides, and wire fences at their fronts. Four of them each had a plastic igloo-style dog house in them, while others had shed-like doghouses. One run was completely empty. I saw one to two dogs in several of the runs.
Indoor/outdoor runs
The facility had an additional set of about a dozen concrete runs with wire walls, each run about four feet wide and 10 feet long. All but one of them were attached to a building with doggie-doors. My view was partially blocked to the runs by trees, and only one dog was visible to me in a single run. .
Elk Creek
The property is on the east side of Elk Creek, with dog runs uphill from, and within 30’ of the creek. This would allow dog manure and urine washed out of runs or washed away by the rain to consistently go into the creek.
