(Long Island,NY) Orchestrating for Nature (LION) is hosting a 2-hour peaceful protest and educational demonstration outside of Worldwide Puppies and Kittens in Bellmore on October 12, 2013 in order to urge Governor Cuomo to sign A.740a/S.3753a, a bill that would allow local municipalities to regulate pet stores. This event will be attended by and is endorsed by two national organizations and several local organizations ranging from Manhattan to Brookhaven.
