I spoke to a man (Caucasian male, about 40 years old, 6’00”, 200 lbs., with short brown hair, a brown moustache, and glasses) pulling out of the residence at 1601 Rodeo Rd, Durant, OK in a black X Terra; I told him I was looking for Ridgeview Kennel. He responded, “That’s me.” We discussed his breeding operation, and I asked him if his puppies are AKC registered. He answered, “No, I don’t use AKC at all.” His puppies that are not cross-breeds could be AKC registered after purchase, according to the owner.

Statements contradicting pet store claims:
He later told me, “I sell to a bunch of pet stores.” I asked him, “Do you run into the problem, though, where they wanna’, like, hand pick every single one?” He shook his head in response, and I asked, “No, not at all?” He then shook his head again. This contradicts a claim by Shake-a-Paw (Lynbrook, NY) that they hand pick puppies from their breeders.
