Orland Park law aims to protect puppies and inform buyers

Summary: The Orland Park Village Board voted unanimously Monday to adopt an animal and consumer protection ordinance that requires pet shops to provide written disclosures for each dog sold in a conspicuous location on or near the animal’s holding cage or in a centrally located area in the pet shop.
