Summary:
The dogs are finally out of the back room of the Puppy Mill Parlor. The Almost Home Foundation has 35 dogs that are in bad shape. Donations, volunteers, and foster homes are needed. The picture you see, is a before and after. The dogs are finally receiving the care they deserve. No more cages. No more dark rooms. No more scary noises. Real food, not dumpster dived expired food. Real bowls to drink from. Real affection and love from a person, not a monster. No more drunks scaring and abusing them. The ages of the dogs that have spent their entire life in a cage range from 1 year to 5 years, 5 months. That is what you call animal cruelty and should never ever have been allowed to go on for years and years. This was NOT a pet store. This was a puppy mill on Main Street in Lisle.
